On 14. October 2024 we got announced as the 3rd participent of the Worldstar26 regatta. A race around the world single or doublehanded without stops, organized by the Royal Western Yacht Club.
It will take the teams from Plymouth in the UK around the world via the three southern capes.

After 5 days Nicolas Manthos and Andre Engelhart finished in 1st place in the doublehanded categorie. Just 19 seconds infront of sistership "RED" skippered by Finn Grötzner.
Overall they finished in place 3.

On 3. August "Cheekytatoo" will be in Aarhus, Denmark on the start of the 2024 Round Denmark Race.
The 640nm course will take Nicolas and Co-Skipper Andre Engelhart up to Skagen and around the many Baltic Islands of Denmark.

After a tough fight with "Luft", a Swedish X55 skippered by Carl Urban, Nicolas and Co-Skipper Jonas Kroner took 2nd place at the 2024 "Midsummer Sail".

On Saturday, February 10th, the much-awaited moment arrived for "Cheekytatoo" to return to her element.
Everything went smoothly, and a few days later, we had her sailing for the first time.
What a stunning boat!
During the transfer trip from Saint Malo to Lorient, we had the opportunity to put her to the test in various conditions. Despite the challenges, we arrived with big smiles on our faces, filled with excitement for the upcoming sailing season!

Over the last few months we´ve been looking for a Class40 for our project.
After a first viewing in Saint Malo in September, we decided for "Cheekytatoo" Class40 #30. Built in 2007 by Simon Rodgers and Tanguy de Lamotte she´s a well proven and tested boat which sailed may Transat Jaque Vabre and Rout du Rhum.
Right now we´re finishing preperation to get her into the water in February.
